Activities on site :

The resort is based around a stunning 18 hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus which is built around 3 lakes and forms the backdrop to the waterside 'Town Centre'. (More golf information can be found within the 'Golf' section on this website.) The Town Centre is host to many services, bars and restaurants to satisfy all tastes. (Please see information further down with regards to the 'Town Centre'). If you are not into golf at all and the stunning view from the bars and restaurants across the course is as close as you'd like to get, then you may wish to turn your hand to tennis (courts on site and rackets and balls provided within the property), cycling (bike hire on site) or swimming (in one of the many pools). There are also pool tables situated in Pino's bar, an Internet Room and many children's play areas (and child friendly pools).

This may all be too much for some and if that's the case you may just wish to lie back on the comfortable sunbeds, sipping a glass of wine whilst watching the sun set from the terrace upstairs.

The 'Town Centre' :

A comfortable stroll takes you to the Town Centre where many amenities along with the restaurants and bars are situated. The amenities include : Supermarket (with home delivery service), bike hire, a variety of shops, conference and events centre, Bank with cash point, hair and beauty salon, a gym and a five star newly completed Intercontinental Hotel.

Bamboo : This Chill Out bar-restaurant and terraces are surrounded by an impressive swimming pool, with the large lake and the lush green golf course on the horizon. Bamboo features dishes from Thailand, India, the Middle East, Mexico and China among others. As the sun sets the music begins and the relaxed atmosphere takes over, providing the perfect place to sip a refreshing cocktail as the sun goes down.

Encina : Lovers of fine cuisine are sure to find this buffet restaurant quickly becomes one of their favourite restaurants. In a privileged location next to the lake, this restaurant offers a show cooking kitchen which prepares a wide range of meat, fish and other delicacies.

Trattoria Acacia : Trattoria Acacia offers the best Italian cuisine in a privileged location next to the lake. It features pasta, pizza and risotto as well as less well known but equally delicious dishes. Without a doubt, this is the perfect place to enjoy classic Italian cuisine.

If you fancy an Indian (eat in or takeaway), Jaipur Palace Indian Restaurant is just 5 minutes from La Torre (well recommended). Local town, Los Alcazeras, also has a number of restaurants offering a wide range of cuisines and local Spanish food.
